- AVERE on South Golden is an approved 353-unit, mixed-use development in Golden, Colorado. REVA assembled and purchased five contiguous parcels totaling 14.4 acres located just east of the city limits along South Golden Road. REVA is currently finalizing architectural and engineering plan approvals through Jefferson County with plans to break ground in late 2024.
- The development approvals include 285 apartment units in two mixed-use buildings and 68 townhomes. There will also be 20,000 sf of retail space in the mixed-use buildings fronting South Golden Rd and an extensive mix of public and private amenities (pool, fitness, co-working, green space, and gathering areas).
- The Golden multifamily submarket has seen relatively little new supply during the most recent wave of multifamily development despite very high demand due to its coveted location near the mountains. In addition to addressing the general lack of supply of traditional apartment units, the for-rent townhomes will be a highly desirable alternative to the for-sale single family market with average area home prices exceeding $1M.
- In addition to limited new supply the Golden submarket, there are many demand drivers in the immediate area including:
- Proximity to NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) with over 2,200 employees and the newly announced 400,000sf GLO Park (globalenergypark.com) which is set to commence construction in 2024.
- Proximity to Colorado School of Mines, a premier public research university focused on science and engineering (7,000+ students).
- Proximity to Coors Brewery and the $900M Coors Tek redevelopment in downtown Golden
- Proximity to historic downtown Golden and easy access to downtown Denver
- Proximity to I-70 for easy access to the mountains and various ski resorts.
- Easy access to countless outdoor activities including hiking, biking, fishing, camping, horseback riding, and golf.
